<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Identification of CWCB's Customers <br /> <br />CWCB's customers include: citizens of Colorado, water users, local governments, Federal <br />entities, State entities, environmental and other special interest groups, private (for profit) <br />entities, and special districts. <br /> <br />Objectives <br /> <br />Objectives were developed to identify the key issues that the Board and Board Staff must <br />strive to accomplish to achieve the Fundamental Goals of the organization. The objectives <br />are classified into three key areas: Policy Development, Olstomer Service, and Program <br />Perrofiiliiiiceallil'Mariagement:'T1resetnree-areascanoe funnetOlfferendared-asfollows: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Staff must identify and analyze issues for policy recommendations to the Board for <br />consideration and adoption. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The Board and Board Staff must: <br />. Continue to support the statutory requirements which mandate CWCB <br />involvement in projects and programs <br />. Provide regulatory stability and support to water users and others <br />. Respond to requests for technical support from its customers <br />. Provide water planning tools to its customers <br />. Support State legislative and administrative requests <br />. Support existing and future water supply infrastructure project financing and <br />construction <br />. Reducing the risk of Colorado's citizens to weather related hazards, specifically <br />flood and drought <br />. Provide general water related information to its customers <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />The Board and Board Staff must: <br />. Provide for adequate staff attraction and retention <br />. Produce useable products (through communication, teamwork, timeliness, <br />accountability and image) <br />. Maintain appropriate financial controls <br />.
