A <br />subcommittee consisting ofTem Pitts on behalf of water users in both Colorado and <br />New Mexico, John Whipple for New Mexico. David Campbell the recently appointed <br />Program Director for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and mysclfhave been working <br />on updates to the "Program Document" over the last several months. We have <br />received one round of comments from the Program Coordination Committee and we <br />wanted to make the Board aware of the proposed changes to the document before <br />continuing discussions with the Program Coordination Committee. <br /> <br />In short, the subcommittee has recommended reorganizing the document, <br />redefined the duties of the Coordination, Biology and Hydrology Committees now that <br />the Service has obtained the funding for and hired a full time Program Director, and <br />updated sections of the document to reflect program changes and knowledge gained <br />since the inception of the Program in 1992. <br /> <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />No action is required of the Board at this time. but \\le do anticipate providing <br />the Board with a linal draft for formal approval at the ~'1arch board meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Attachments <br />
