<br />SUMMARY OF PROPOSED PROJECT <br />CONSOLIDATED MUTUAL WATER COMPANY <br />FORTUNE RESERVOIR <br /> <br />. Project Sponsor: Consolidated Mutual Water Company <br /> <br />Type of Project: Municipal- new raw water reservoir <br /> <br />Location: About \/2 mile northwest of the intersection of Highway 72 and Indiana Street <br />on a dry tributary of Big Dry Creek in the City of Arvada, Jefferson County as shown on <br />the attached map. <br /> <br />Date of Application: December 22, 1998 <br /> <br />Feasibility Study: First draft received December 22, 1998 <br /> <br />Project Description: The project involves the construction of a 9,000 acre-foot reservoir <br />with a 105 foot-high, zoned earth embankment; an emergency spillway capable of <br />passing the Probable Maximum Flood; and a 30-inch diameter inlet/outlet pipeline. The <br />reservoir will be hydraulically connected with the rest of the Company's Maple Grove <br />raw water system through 5 \/2 miles of new pipeline. Geotechnical and hydrologic <br />investigations as well as final project design have been completed. The State Engineers <br />Office is currently reviewing the design documents. <br /> <br />Estimated Project Cost: $21,585,000 <br /> <br />.
