The center or <br />these ponds is located In the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 21, T. 12 N., R. <br />86 W., at a point approximately 700 feet from the Wcst line and 400 fect <br />from the North line of said Section 21. These ponds have a combined <br />surface area of2.2:5 acres. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(2) Lower Meagpw Oxbow Lakes. The sOllrce for these ponds is the Little <br />Snake River. The ponds are an inter-connected single, flow-through <br />system and aro dcsigned for recreational, aesthetic, piscatorial and wildlife <br />pllrposes. The ponds arc fed by water diverted at the headgato of the <br />Haneock Ditch under the various water rights diverted at that head gate <br />including the Hancock Ditch, the Hancock Ditch First Bnlargcment, (he <br />Hancock Ditch Second Enlargement and all ofthe water rights idenlified <br />in paragraphs 7.C, through 7.H. below. The water diverted under these <br />variolls water rights J10ws into the ponds to keep watcr fresl, and <br />circulating for improved fish habitat. There is no storage componcnt to <br />any 0 f these lakes and water divelied from tile stream undcr the identified <br />water tights passes into Md through the lakes and then directly back to the <br />stream. The centor of the ponds is located in the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of <br />Seetion 17, T. 12 N., R. :36 W., at a point approximately 1900 teet from <br />the South line 1111d 800 feet from the West line of said Seotion 17. These <br />lakes have a combined sllrface area of 1 .68 aeres. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />^ggmcnlalion 1\ources. <br /> <br />A. !1nknown C,tpj)k Dilc11: The Unknown Creek Ditch was originally adjudicated <br />on September 24, 1903, in the District Court for ROUTT County, for 1.5 c.r.s. <br />The source for this water right is Unknown Creck, tributary to the Little Snake <br />River, The dcerecd point of diwrsioll is 011 the West bank of Unknown Creek <br />whenee the NW Corner of Section 28, T. 12 N" R. 86 W., bears S, 57" 55' W., <br />6,669.9 feet. The right was decreed for the I1Tigation of90 acres with a priority <br />(late of May I, 1890. The Unknowl1 Creck Ditch has historically irrigated <br />l\pproximately 46 acres located in the NE 1/4 of Section 21, T, 12 N" R. 86 W, <br />On average, approximately 177 acre-feet of water per year was divcrted from <br />Unknown Creek \llldcr this water right of which approximately 56 acre-feet was <br />eonsumed by cvapo-transpiratiOl1. <br /> <br />R South Fork Ditch JS[Q...J.. The South Fork Diteh No. I was originally adjudicated <br />on September 24, 1903, in the District Court for ROlltt County. for 2.06 c.f.s. The <br />source for this water right is tho South Fork of the Little Snake River. 'rhe <br />dccreed point of diversion is on the West bank of the South Fork of the Little <br />Snake River at a point whence the NW Corner of Section 28, T. 12 N" R. 86 W., <br />hears N. 19057' W.. 1059.9 feet.
