Please see the attached project summary and map. The
feasibility study by Bishop-Brogden Associates (BBA), the District's water engineer,
is nearing completion.

Proiect Sponsor

The EDWD was formed in 1969 as a Colorado special district under Title 32 CRS. The
District currently serves somewhat more than 1,300 taps and at bui1dout is expected to
serve about 1,700 to 1,800 taps. Water customers within the District are primarily
residential units including single family homes, duplexes and condominiums.

EDWD provides service to an area of Summit County referred to as "Summit Cove". The
service area is about 1.8 square miles located three miles south of the Town of Dillon and
on an east bay of Lake Dillon. See the attached map.

The District purchases water on an annual basis from the Vid1er Water Company
(fonnerly the Vidler Tunnel Water Company) under a 1983 Memorandum of Agreement
between the two entities. The rights used by the Vid1er Water Company (Vidler) to supply
the EDWD are described in another section of this memo.

Flood Protection. Water Project PlannIng and Financing.
