Introduction

The CWCB and Attorney General's staff have recently reviewed the Colorado Revised
Statutes as they relate to the Construction Fl.U1d and Severance Tax Trust Fl.U1d Perpetual Base
Accol.U1t.

We have identified several statutes that should be amended to reflect current procedures and
policies adopted by the Board, Some of the proposed amendments or revisions are simply
grammatical clarifications, while others are substantive,

The foHowing pages show the fonnalized amendments with a description or discussion
included with each,

Our review of proposed amendments is ongoing and we may have additional
recommendations to discuss on with you on Nov, 20,

Recommendation

Staff recommends the Board request the General Assemb1v to amend the Colorado Revised
Statutes relative to the Construction Fund and Severance Tax Trust FLmd Perpetual Base Account
as shown in the attached statute revisions,
