<br />Action: A motion was made by"Eric Kuhn that .the Board' accept. the staff
<br />recOmmendation to approve the' regional regressibn methodology:described
<br />in the memorandum as suitable for Board approval and designation of 100-
<br />year floodplain information that is prepared using the methodology, to
<br />authorize the Board staff and the CWCB Hydrology Advisory Committee
<br />to proceed with the preparation of the Guidelines and to approve the
<br />proposed order of study for Colorado's river basins, with the Arkansas,
<br />South Platte and Republican River basins as first study priorities. The
<br />motion was seconded by Ray WeIDer and approved unanimously (9-0).

<br />recommendation to notify all of the affected local governnlents, as listed
<br />in the Board memorandum, of its intent to consider all approval and
<br />designation as approximate 1 DO-year floodplains the information presented
<br />in subject study, and to'direCt the staff to prepare ietters of notification of
<br />the proposed designation and approval action on behalf of the Chair of the
<br />Board, such letter to be mailed no less than 45 days priodo the July 1995
<br />
