The diversion and headgate are located on the Arkansas <br />River and the Reservoir is located about 5 miles northeast of Ordway. The dam needs to be <br />rehabilitated by construction of toe drains and an emergency spillway, in accordance with State <br />Engineer safety standards, The reservoir has a capacity of 9,500 ac-ft. The Lake Henry <br />Reservoir Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the <br />State of Colorado. URS Consultants has completed preliminary plans and a cost estimate for <br />the project and CWCB Staff has completed the feasibility study. Proposed funding for the <br />project consists of a CWCB Construction Fund Loan for $490,000 and a bank loan for the <br />remainder. <br /> <br /> <br />Location Map <br />; <br />
