DEFINITIONS. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />In this Act: <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />AREA.--the term "Area" means the Rio Grande <br />, <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />Outstanding Natural Area established under section 4. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />(2) AREA MANAGEMENT PLAN.--the term "Area <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Management Plan" means the plan developed by the <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />Commission in cooperation with Federal, State and local <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />agencies and approved by the Secretary after environmental <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />compliance has occurred. <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />(3) COMMISSION.-- Th~ term "Commission" means the <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />Rio Grande Outstanding Natural Area Commission as <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />established in this Act. <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />(4) COMPACT.--The t+rm "Compact" means the Rio <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />Grande Compact, consented to by Congress in the Act of May <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />31,1939 (53 Stat. 785, chapter 155). <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />(5) SECRETARY.--The term "Secretary" means the <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />Secretary of the Interior. <br /> <br />DRAFT.
