This is an application for a plan for augmentation on the Arkansas River in Custer, <br />Fremont, and Chaffee Counties (see attached map). Applicant is proposing to replace out- <br />of-priority depletions by existing and future water users located within the Water District. <br />Applicant intends to use releases from Twin Lakes Reservoir and North Fork Reservoir as <br />augmentation water, and has also requested the right to use any consumptive use credits <br />which may be acquired in the future. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriation <br /> <br />The Board holds a number of instream flow rights tributary to the Arkansas River <br />which could be injured by this application. <br /> <br />Potential for Injul)' <br /> <br />Applicant's plan for augmentation may not replace depletions in the same amount, <br />timing, or location at which they occur. <br /> <br />Other Objectors <br /> <br />There are no other objectors in this case. However, at the time this memo was <br />prepared, the period for fIling statements of opposition to this application had not yet <br />. expired. <br />
