Those policies state that all feasibility studies will be prepared <br />following the general procedures described in the Board's Construction Fund Guidelines <br />(Guidelines). <br /> <br />This agenda item is a review of the Guidelines and a presentation of proposed revisions to the <br />Guidelines, <br /> <br />Backl!round <br /> <br />The Legislature has given the Board sole discretion, subject to such procedures as the Board <br />deems appropriate, for the review and approval of project feasibility studies completed as part of a <br />loan application from the Construction Fund and the Perpetual Base Account. <br /> <br />Section 37-60-122 (c), C.R.S requires that a feasibility study be prepared for projects <br />requesting Construction Fund loans in order to determine the economic and engineering feasibility <br />of the project. Further, Section 37-60-121 (b), C.R.S" requires that the feasibility study for the <br />proposed project shall include an evaluation of: the water tights available to the project and the yield <br />thereof; the engineering and economic feasibility of the proposed project; and the anticipated <br />economic, social and environmental effects ofthe project. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
