A number of important new and on-going activities within this program have taken place <br />that may be of high interest to the Board and to the public. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />A staff member from the Division of Water Resources will make a brief presentation to the Board <br />regarding the status of several key activities related to the monitoring program in Colorado. Relevant <br />topics will include streamgage maintenance, replacement and refurbishment as well as flood hardening <br />activities. Technology items such as High Data Rate equipment and the ALERT system will also be <br />discussed. Lastly, DWR staff has been asked to highlight program accountability activities along with <br />program benefits. <br /> <br />Conclusion <br />Staff is not requesting Board action on this agenda item at this time. This item is for informational <br />purposes only, and DWR/CWCB staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise <br />related to this item. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
