Application Summarv

This is an application for a ground water right, change of water right, approval of a plan for
augmentation including exchange, and an appropriative right of exchange to support a recreational
ranching enterprise near Ruedi Reservoir. Applicant seeks to divert water from a pond well that
would also serve as an operational storage for irrigation at a rate of 50 gpm. Applicant also seeks a
change in point of diversion for King Ranch Ditch No,l. Applicant has contracted with the Basalt
WCD system to release water from various sources to replace diversions/depletions when there is a
call on the River. Applicant's augmentation plan includes an exchange at a rate of 5.6 cfs from
several sources of augmentation to point of diversion. Lastly, Applicant seeks an appropriative right
of exchange for 0.7 cfs on the Fryingpan River.
