SECTION 17. Arkansas river augmentation loan fund

10 transfer. Any remaining unreserved moneys previously appropriated to

II the Arkansas river augmentation loan fund shall be credited to the

12 Colorado water conservation board construction fund.

13 SECTION 18. Section 12 of chapter 360, Session Laws of
14 Colorado 2000, is amended to read:

SECTION 12.

EI Paso county water master plan -

16 appropriation. (I) The Colorado water conseryation board is hereby

17 authorized to participate in a cooperative water supply planning
18 inyestigation and master plan of the rural EI Paso county area. The
,

19 purposes of the investigation will be to effectively identify the current

20 and future deyelopment of water resources, systems, and facilities

21 benefitting the residents of El Paso county. The scope of work for the
22 master plan shall be developed by the El Paso county water authority in

23 consultation with El Paso county and the Colorado water conservation

24 board. THE COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD IS FURTHER

25 AUTHORIZED TO PARTICIPATE WITH THE EL PASO COUNTY WATER

26 AUTHORITY IN A COOPERATIVE STUDY AND INVESTIGATION OF TRANSIT

27 LOSSES ON FOUNTAIN AND MONUMENT CREEKS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE
