Park. The 780-acre reservoir was built using federal money and refinanced with a loan from the
CWCB Construction Fund.

Located just south of Steamboat Springs, Stagecoach State Park offers visitors a
wonderful area to enjoy Colorado's outdoors. Learn the history of mining and logging near
Stagecoach while you enjoy an unlimited array of activities, including fabulous boating and
fishing. The park's unique rimrock formations invite visitors to explore the park's trail system,
and the family atmosphere makes Stagecoach a wonderful vacation destination. Stagecoach State
Park had 173,723 visitors in 1997

Directions: from Steamboat Springs, go four miles east on U.S. 40, then south on
Colorado 131 for five miles to Routt County Road 14.
