Platte River Coordinator and CRDSS Staff: Twenty-three people applied to be the <br />state's new Platte River Coordinator. Ten were determined to be qualified and eight completed <br />the written examination. An oral exam will be held in August. <br /> <br />A Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ) for a new Colorado River Decision Support <br />System staff member has also been completed. This position will serve as the CRDSS data <br />manager and hardware and software expert. When discussions surrounding the classification of <br />the position have been completed with the DNR Human Resources Office, an announcement will <br />be published. <br /> <br />Several more vacancies remain to be filled: two CRDSS staff members, a Construction <br />Fund contract compliance specialist and a Instream Flow Protection Specialist. We are also in <br />the process of completing PDQs for an Office Coordinator, who will manage many <br />administrative responsibilities, and a Program Assistant who will be making meeting <br />arrangements, ensuring deadlines are met, serving as a an Open Records officer and assisting <br />with publications: ' <br /> <br />New Full Time Employee: Kathie Lucki has been promoted to a full time position with <br />CWCB. Kathie has worked part time for us since November 1997. One-half of her time will be <br />spent working with Bill Stanton in the Office of Water Conservation and one-half of her time <br />will be spent working for Mike Serlet, the chief of the Water Project Planning and Construction <br />Section. Congratulations, Kathie! <br /> <br />Resignation: Terry Moulton, who has been helping water districts prepare conservation <br />plans in compliance with the federal Reclamation Reform Act for submission to the Bureau of <br />, Reclamation, is getting married and moving to Maine.
