Attached is a chart showing the status of current legislative issues that are being followed by the <br />.olorado Water Congress and our staff. . <br /> <br />Of particular interest are: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HB 00-1314 that allows the DO W to reintroduce the Bonytail chub; <br /> <br />HB 00-1419 the CWCB projects bill (which was amended by the House Appropriations Committee <br />to include the $300,000 Pine River Irrigation Co. loan); <br /> <br />HB 00-1429 that appropriates additional funds into the state Native Species Conservation Trust Fund <br />(the resolution that allows funds to be appropriated from the fund has not yet been introduced): <br /> <br />HB 00-1438 that repeals the CWCB's ability to use conditional water rights for instream flows in the <br />Yampa River Basin; and, <br /> <br />SIR 006 that supports passage of the federal long-term funding for capital projects designed to <br />facilitate the recovery of endangered fish. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I will bring several copies of each bill to the meeting. <br /> <br />We are expecting two additional bills to be introduced: a bill to make permanent the Special Water <br />Committee and a "Growth Water Supply" bill.
