Channel Stability ratings decreased at all
stations from 2002 to 2004 as a direct result of the work completed. Primary areas of
improvement included reduced bank slopes, reduced bank and bed cutting, general improvement
in bed material stability, and increased vegetative vigor. All scores realized in 2002 were between
90-105 with score dramatically reducing in 2004 to between 63 -95. Scores improved at each
station with decreases realized between ten and twenty points based on a scale of 120 possible,

Trout habitat ratings improve as the rating score increases. Maximum score possible is 60 .
Ratings increased at all stations from 2002 to 2004. Piiwwy areas of improvement included
increased bank stability, increased spawning areas, as well as increased frequency, size and depth
ofpooIs. Scores improved approximately 50% at each station evaluated. Scores in 2002 ranged
from 25-35 increasing to 40-58 in 2004. The substantial impro"e...,.,~ identified in this
evaluation are primarily due to the work completed in 2003 and the excellent streamside
revegetation that was enhan..M by this effurt and the stream flows rea1i7.e<t Many trout are
observed in the stream and C'lJlg/1t by anglers. Brown trout redds were observed in the channel in
2004.

Aquatic Macroinvertebrates:

Biotic Condition Index (BCI) was used to evaluate 3 stations for macroinvertebrates was
accomplished in 2002 and 2 stations in 2004. Samples were taken during both efforts above and
below Egeria Creek. ResuIts can be viewed in Table 2.
