"Do you anticipate that this matter should be
delaYed and future consideration be given to it
by members of this Board?"

"I think that if we can work out something it should
be done. What do you think about waiting until
after election and then have the Congressmen
elected come in and explain their views?"

"I think all interested parties should be heard
at length. I would offer this motion; that this
Colorado Water Conservation Board reconvene some-
time after election, the latter part of November
or early December, for the purpose of considering
the possible solution of intra-state problems in
Colorado pertaining to the Colorado River Storage
Project Bill, at which time all interested people,
organizations and groups on both sides of the
slope be notified so that they can have an oppor-
tunity to present their views."

"Any remarks on this motion? All in favor of the
motion signify by saying aye." Motion unanimously
carried."

~I think it is an obligation on our part to get
the two slopes to agree. We should make an
attempt to do so."

"If we can get the three projects, Glen Canyon,
Echo Park and Curecanti, authorized we will be
able to work out the over-all picture. I think
the thing to do is get the Bill drawn up as we
want it."

"The Legislation Committee was to function until
an agreement was reached?"

"Yes."
