The meeting reconvened and was ,called to, order by' Vice-Ch~inn~n Chris
W~llrish at 2120 p.m.

Vice-Chairman Chris Wallrioh announoedthe appointment of Judge John B.
O'Rourke. Silmon Smith and J. M. Dille as members of the committee to consider
the reply to the letter, of Govorllor Hunt of WyQming. It 1'I&.s also announoed by
him that Attorney General Hinkley and Director Stone ,should meet with this oom-
mittee. ' ,

Thereupon the Board commenced the reading and, coneideration .01' the
Cclorado statement respeoting the tentative report of the Bureau of Reol~ation
pertaining to the plan of oomprehensive develcipnent of the Colorado River Basin.
A teI!tative statement for Colorado had been prepared by Chief Engineer C. L.
Patter~an,who activelyparttoipat,d in its oonsideration and explained hi,
recollDllendations. ,John R. Riter. Direotor 1)1' ProJeot Pl~nning', Bureau of Recla-
mation. and E. B. Debler. Direotor of Region 7 of the Bur_.of Reolamation.
were in ~ttenqanoe and,the Board freely disoussed with these representatives of
the Bureau of Reol!UMtion their several reoOllDllendatione for inolusion in the
final Colorado statement to the Bureau.

Judge John B. O'Rourke, chaiman of the oonmittee appointed to make'a
reoommendation to the Board respeoti.ng a reply to the letter of Governor Hunt
of Wyoming respeoting a compaot among the four Upper Basin 8tat&s of th& Colo-
rado Riv&r Basin. announoed that the oommittee wae not yet ready to make a
rel,)ort.

. Thereupon the Board reverted to the considerlLti'on of the Colorado
statement respeoting the tentative report of the Bureau of Reclamation. pertain-
ing to the plan of comprehensive development 01' the Colon.do River Basin. The
reading of the Colorado statement and the oonsideration of its various pre-
visions oontinued until 12.25 p.IlI.. when the Board recessed to reoonvene at
