The Kenosha Trout Club (Homeowners Association) operates and
manages community property, including all water rights, lakes, and roads. The Lininger
Lake, which is used for fish, wildlife and recreation purposes by subdivision residents, is
supplied by a junior water right and can not be filled unless its consumptive use due to
evaporation is replaced. The estimated average annual divertable volume is 110 acre-
feet, and the evaporative loss needing augmentation is 46 acre-feet. The Association
plans to purchase senior water rights that are suitable for augmentation, and to make
certain improvements to the Lininger Lake Dam. The Kenosha Trout Club is a nonprofit
corporation registered in the State of Colorado. The Association has 32 members and
the subdivision covers 240 acres, of which 51 acres is Lininger Lake. Greg Roush, P.E.
at Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers, Inc. has completed the feasibility study.
Funding will come from a $600,000 loan from the CWCB for 75% of the cost. The
Kenosha Trout Club Homeowners Association will fund the remainder.
~:'.>"':;:' ,',,",: ,,/':"
..,.."..,....,..,~), .., "
'-"" ( '\ ".' ,
',,' ...-:.J~~," I 'I,' '.
'-',', ""~ /' Beaver Greek

:~"~~" .
, ~:-2S'
!n : '
~~ ~ .~, 1Y~~"
l' . , _.~ ;~;~:'!{l... .:
~ Kenosha Trout Club Subdivlsio
~......... ~- ,..~'"''
,."., '-::' ~;'~: ,'.'
