revenues to be received for wheeling this
thermal power over Storage Project lines will
significantly augment the Basin Fund.

In summary, let me say the major questions
involved in the transmission of Colorado River
Storage Unit power are now resolved. Many
minor details are yet to be worked out within
the framework of the contracts that have been
agreed to and signed. They will be worked out,
and when Storage Unit power is ready to go on
the line in 1963 at Flaming Gorge and 1964 at
Glen Canyon, it will be handled efficiently.

That concludes the report of Region 4,
Mr. Stapleton."

MR. STAPLETON:

"Thank you, Mr. Clinton. I know there are
members of the Board and perhaps the audience
also who wish to ask questions or make comments
on this report, but before we go into that, I
suggest we have a five minute recess for coffee."

The meeting reconvened at 11:30 A. M. and was called to
order by Mr. Stapleton.

MR. STAPLETON:

"We'll call this meeting back to order. I
should like at this time to introduce Judge
Porter, a Director of the Upper Gunnison River
Water Conservancy District, who is our host
for this meeting. Will you stand, Judge Por-
ter? We are delighted to be here and to have
this chance of meeting with the people of your
area. Judge Porter,will you introduce the
other members of your group who are here?"

JUDGE PORTER:

"Thank you, Mr. Stapleton. We are always
glad to welcome the Water Board to meet in
our part of the State. Let me see, we have
Sam Little, a member of the Upper Gunnison
River District over there. Also Harvey
Lobdell, another member of the Upper Gunnison
River District. Over there is phil Smith,
Secretary-Engineer of the Colorado River Water
Conservation District, who are your co-hosts.
