MINUTES OF
COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING
Webster Hall, Gunnison, Colorado

July 6, 1962

The meeting convened at 10:00 A. M. The Chairman,
Governor McNichols, was present but the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Staple-
ton, presided and called the meeting to order.

MR. STAPLETON:

"We will call this regular meeting of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board to order.

I think we have a full Board. I would
like to introduce Mr. Jimmy Geissinger from
the Attorney General's office who is taking
Mr. Barnard's place and will be with us from
now on. Jim."

MR. GEISSINGER:

"Thank you."

MR. STAPLETON:

"Glad to have you here, Jim.

As the Board members know, and as our
guests may know, we have not had a meeting
since February 3rd at Alarnosa because the staff
and the Governor have been busy ever since that
time with the Fryingpan-Arkansas proj ect. We'll
have the report on that project a little later -
I am sure we are all grateful for the success
everyone has had so far on that project and if
we have to postpone meetings for such a worth-
while cause we'll do it again.

As a result of that, we have two sets of
minutes to approve at this meeting. First the
January 17th meeting in Denver. Are there any
additions or corrections to the minutes of
the January 17th meeting? Hearing none I'll
entertain a motion to approve the minutes of
that date."
