Are there any suggestions <br />or corrections?" <br /> <br />Mr. Crawford stated that he 4ad received a'request from <br />Mr. Dickson to change '30,000 aCre feet' to '70,000 acre feet', <br />in a statement made by Mr. Petry on page 8. Also, he explained <br />on page 14, Mr. John Barnard asked that the words 'of Colorado' <br />be added to the sentence beginning "In connection with the first <br />point. . . . . belong to the people." <br /> <br />There being no objections, the minutes were declared <br />approved as amended. <br /> <br />2. Progress Report on Formation of Ground <br />Water Districts <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey called on Mr. Barnard. <br /> <br />Mr. Barnard read to the Board the following letter dated <br />January 9, 1956: <br /> <br />Mr. Ivan C. Crawford, Director <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />State Office Building <br />Denver 2, Colorado <br /> <br />Re: Regulations for formation <br />of underground water districts. <br /> <br />Dear Sir: <br /> <br />As you will recall, at the meeting in December, I <br />expressed my opinion that before the Board could , <br />properly consider any application for the formation of <br />an underground water district, it would be necessary ~ <br />for the Board to consider, adopt and promulgate appropriate <br />rules of procedure governing such applications. It was <br />
