.

.

.

RESULTS

All final reports on the projects are located within the CWCB office. For each entity the money
received was a boost in their efforts to provide a visible water use efficiency project in their
community. Each final report outlined the successes and problems that occurred within each
project. The grant program was successful in that each project produced a benefit to the local
community through the public information thatwas shared throughout the community. The level of
awareness regarding water use efficiency was certainly a benefit to the OWC program as well.

The table above shows a tremendous response for the grants program in terms of project
applications and money requested for those projects. There were more project applications than
money to distribute. There also is a need to look at the benefits of funding additional water use
efficiency projects that provide a boost to implement water use efficiency measures that
communities find to be too expensive to implement. Each project type produced different results.
The following spreadsheets will show various categories of projects. Those projects in the same
category were implemented and monitored differently depending on the components of their project
proposal.

See attached spreadsheets

SEE APPENDIX C FOR FURTHER DOCUMENTATION

25
