Walker <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 19, 1982 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Preliminary Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level <br />Recommendations to be Presented at the <br />August 16, 1982 Board Meeting <br /> <br />Please find attached the Preliminary Notice of instream <br />flow/natural lake level recommendations which will be presented <br />to the Colorado Water Conservation Board for informational and <br />discussion purposes at its next regular meeting in Denver, <br />Colorado on Auqust 16, 1982. This Preliminary Notice constitutes <br />the start of a public review and comment period which will run <br />for approximately 90 days before the Board will take any formal <br />action on these recommendations. When advanced to Final Notice <br />status, this list will be recirculated with any changes resulting <br />from the review process incorporated therein. <br /> <br />Should you wish to comment on the instream flow/natural lake <br />level recommendations as presented in the Preliminary Notice, you <br />may do so by writing the staff at the address given above. It <br />should be noted that while your public appearance at the Board <br />meeting is welcomed, such an appearance is not necessary in order <br />for your concerns to be recognized. The staff will take your <br />comments into account and, if you so request, present them to the <br />Board in your absence. <br /> <br />To insure adequate notification of all interested parties, <br />we are requesting that you share this notice with any groups or <br />individuals who you feel would have an interest in the instream <br />flow/natural lake level recommendations as presented herein. <br /> <br />The State's Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level Program is <br />administered by the Colorado Water Conservation Board pursuant to <br />Senate Bill 97 (section 37-92-102, CRS 1973, as amended). <br /> <br />8IJ/gI <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />d142 <br />mem/pre <br /> <br />Robert A.
