<br />Terms of Loan: $1,689,750 @4.2S% for 30-years <br /> <br />Project Type: Raw Water Supply <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This $1,616,320 project involves the construction ofa raw water supply pipeline from the Colorado River <br />to the Jones No.2 Reservoir. The pipeline project will allow the Town of Kremmling to access their <br />conditional 3 cfs flow right out of the Colorado River, which will be stored at Jones No.2 Reservoir and <br />used to augment the town's current water supply. The project involves the construction of 12,000 feet of <br />pipe, low and high lift pump stations, and low and high lift forcemains. The project was bid in the winter <br />of 2004, and was awarded to Duckels Construction, Steamboat, Colorado. The project is currently under <br />construction and is approximately 65% complete. The Contractor encountered complications with the <br />bore site under the existing railroad tracks to the river, which required a new bore. The new bore has <br />been completed successfully and 100% of the 12-inch pipe has been installed. Connections to the pump <br />and treatment plant have been completed. The town is waiting on 2 valve replacements before they make <br />a final test on the system. The project is anticipated to be complete by December of 2005. <br /> <br />8. Sprinl!dale Ditch Companv Well AUl!lllentation Project <br /> <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin <br />Terms of Loan: $13S,OOO@ 2.75% for 30-years <br /> <br />County: Logan - Near Sterling <br />Project Yield: 10,647 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The Springdale Ditch Company operates the Springdale Ditch for the delivery of irrigation water <br />within a 4,490-acre service area. The headgate for the ditch is located in Logan County 6 miles southwest <br />of Sterling. The prOject involves the construction of augmentation ponds and drilling one augmentation <br />well and 2 recharge wells to generate credits to cover depletions from 43 irrigation wells used by .,. ".. <br />Stockholdera of the Company. The project engineer is Brent Nation with Nation Engineering Services, <br />Fort Morgan, Colorado. The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be complete by <br />December of 2005. <br /> <br />9. New Cache La Poudre Irril!ation COll1Panv Reservoir Construction <br /> <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte <br />Terms of Loan: $7,200,000 @2.S0% for 30-years <br /> <br />County: Weld <br />Project Yield: 4,500 acre-feet <br />Project Type: New Reservoir <br /> <br />The New Cache La Poudre Irrigation Company currently provides irrigation water to a 3S,OOO-acre <br />service area. The purpose of this project is to provide water storage to equalize ditch flows, to improve <br />efficiency and the reliability of the Company's system, and for providing additional storage to meet future <br />demands. The project will involve the construction of 3 separate reservoira near the Town of <br />Bamesville, Colorado, totaling 4,500 acre-feet of storage. Additionally, 8,200 linear feet of pipeline will <br />be installed in construction with the reservoirs. Smith Geotechnical, Fort Collins, Colorado is the project <br />designer. The Barnesville Reservoir project was awarded to Barker Construction, Fort Collins, Colorado <br />and has been completed. The pump station from Bamesville Reservoir to Cornish Reservoir and their <br />ditch system was completed in May of 2005. Cornish Reservoir is currently under design and is <br />scheduled for construction in the spring of 2006. <br /> <br />10.
