Hagie - National Reclamation Association <br /> <br />Frank Merriell - Colorado River Water Conservation <br />District <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 11:00 o'clock A. M. by <br />Chris Wallrich. Vice-Chairman. <br /> <br />Mr. F. O. Ragie. Executive Secretaryof' the National Reclamation <br />Association. was present and was oalled upon to address the Board. He <br />explained the nature of the work of the Natio,-,al Reclamation Association. <br />its progress during the past year and cOlIDllented upon outstanding reclamation <br />legis lation passed by the last Congress. <br /> <br />After Mr. Hagie's remarks members of the Board acknowledged. the <br />splendid services of the National Reclamation Association in connection <br />wi. th irrigati on projects in Colorado. The services of that organization <br />are a necessary part of tie program of the State to secure recognition by <br />the goverIll1lBnt of proposed irrigation project.e. <br /> <br />General discussion was had concerning the Water Facilities Act <br />passed by the last Congress and its adaptation to Colorado. <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Merriell. Secretary-Engineer of the Colcrado River <br />Conservation Boord. was then introduced and made a few remarks concerning <br />his mrk end the relation of his Board to the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board. <br /> <br /> <br />There was general discussion concerning the filings in North <br />Park for the grazing projects now being constructed by the CCC. No action <br />_s taken but an explene.tion !Dll-de by Mr. Stone as to the mamleT of procedure <br />end the questions involved. <br />
