<br />. <br /> <br />4) What does the hydrogeological community need? <br />Most constituents in the professional hydrogeologic community support the idea <br />of a map-based ground water atlas. It would provide a quick, general reference <br />for them and more importantly for the people they serve. They see its value as an <br />education tool. At the statewide page-size scale, it will not be very useful in their <br />technical work, unless the project eventually leads to I) production of maps at <br />larger scale and 2) to additional data collection in areas lacking hydrogeologic <br />information. GIS functionality for the data is also desired. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
