4a. Floodplain Management - 1998 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan

Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board accept the presented revised
plan entitled "Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan for Colorado, February 1998".
The motion was seconded by Alan Hamel and approved unanimously (8-0).

4b. Floodplain Management - 1997 Flood Hazard Mitigation Grant Program - Funding

Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve the staff
recommendation to reallocate previously commissioned funds from another
flood program to make up the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program shortfall, if
necessary, and further direct staff to extend priority to FY 98 applicants for
FY 99 FMAP funding. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and
approved unanimously (8-0).

4c. Floodplain Management - Roaring Fork Multi-Objective Study - Implementation

Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve the concept of
the MOD with Reudi Water & Power Authority and direct the staff to move
forward with the process. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn and
approved unanimously (7-0).
