Floodplain Management - 1998 Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 3000 - 3537 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board accept the presented revised <br />plan entitled "Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan for Colorado, February 1998". <br />The motion was seconded by Alan Hamel and approved unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />4b. Floodplain Management - 1997 Flood Hazard Mitigation Grant Program - Funding <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 3537 - 4080 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve the staff <br />recommendation to reallocate previously commissioned funds from another <br />flood program to make up the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program shortfall, if <br />necessary, and further direct staff to extend priority to FY 98 applicants for <br />FY 99 FMAP funding. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and <br />approved unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />4c. Floodplain Management - Roaring Fork Multi-Objective Study - Implementation <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 4080 - 4535 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve the concept of <br />the MOD with Reudi Water & Power Authority and direct the staff to move <br />forward with the process. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn and <br />approved unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />5a. Instream Flow Progr am - Statement of Opposition - Case No. 1-97CW370; Silver heels <br />Ranch Owners Association <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 4571 - 4760 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board ratify this statement of <br />opposition. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and approved <br />unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />5b. Instream Flow Program - Statement of Opposition - Case No. 1-97CW380; <br />Beaverbrook Res. <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 4760 - 4814 <br />Action: A motion was made by David Smith that the Board ratify this statement of <br />opposition. The motion was seconded by Eric Kuhn and approved <br />unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />5c.
