DETAILSI BUDGET

.

.

,

REVENUE
The audit numbers were determined by demand from partner cities
CRC Cost Share
The CRC is contributing $15,059 to the Task 1 and 2 portions of the 2006 Slow the Flow Colorado project. All of the contribution is in-kind
and represents costs above the cash received from partner cites to pay for Tasks 1 and 2. The in-kind contribution from the CRC is
represented in all 42 hours of Task 1, sub task Solicitation, inteNiew and hiring of auditors, and also pays for just over half, 190 hours, of Task 2,
sub task Manager. The contribution represents hours billed at $65 by Kara Csibrik.

Task 3: Program Quantification/Qualification Study (phase II) - (completed 12/30/06)
Explanation of billing rates:
The $65 billing rate reflects a director- level salary, plus fringe benefits and overhead. The $35 billing rate reflects an assistant - level
salary with overhead and without benefits. The 2005 audited financials are available at your request.
Collect post- audit water records for sample for 2004-2005 audits
This task involves visiting with the 9 different water utilities that the Slow the Flow program works with and gathering the requisite water records.
Unlike some of the other landscape irrigation audit program that generally work with one or two water districts, Slow the Flow Colorado works
with 9 independent water utilities.
Create survey for homeowners
All homeowners that participated in the Slow the Flow program and may be part of the sample for the Phase II will receive a survey that attempts
to ascertain if any changes to the landscape or Irrigation system have taken place that may impact water use.

Distribution of and follow up of survey
CRC anticipates needing to follow up with homeowners to encouage them to participate with the survey.

Postage

Compiling survey results

Data entry of post-audit water records
The post-audit water records must be manually entered in the Excel calculation tool and then the Access master database (of all data collected
during the start of program) the CRC has been using since the start of the Slow the Flow program.
Analysis of data
This task involves creating a statistical model with a statistician that considers all relevant variables, necessary sample size and appropraite
procedures to gather the appropriate information.
Creation of report (to be included with final report for 2006 program)
A report documenting results will be created and sent with final reports to all Slow the Flow partner cities and funders.
CRC In-Kind
The CRC is contributing $12,825 in-kind to Task 3 as this task is beneficial to the CRC and the future of the Slow the Flow Colorado program.
