<br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />percentage of systems falling below industry standards of efficiency in regards to <br />distribution uniformities, pressure, and root depths for systems in each community <br />participating in the program. Included is an analysis of water use histories and estimates <br />of the percentage of over or under watering that has occurred on properties audited in the <br />program. Other findings are reported on as they arise during data analysis. Evaluations <br />that clients submit of the program are reviewed to see how favorable the program was <br />received, what changes are reported made following an audit, and what recommendations <br />are given for program improvements. Presentations are made to appropriate parties <br />including the CWCB, city councils and municipal staff on the methodology and benefits <br />of irrigation audits as well as the results from the year's program. <br /> <br />Grant Request <br /> <br />The Center for ReSource Conservation is asking for a grant from the CWCB to operate <br />its 2006 audit program and conduct analysis of the effectiveness of the program based on <br />previous year's audits (Phase II). The amount ofthe grant request is $77,290. The tasks <br />involved and money requested is as follows: <br /> <br />Scope of Work - 2006 Irrigation program <br /> <br />Task Description Cost <br />Task 1: Hiring of Auditors -Solicit, interview and hire auditors for the $2,730 <br />completed 5/20/06 program. funded <br /> by cities <br /> and <br /> CRC <br />Task 2: Prepare & Conduct -Train auditors and assure qualifications to <br />Field Audits conduct audits (by the CLlA- Kara Csibrik). <br />completed 8/18/06-50% However the auditors will not become <br />completion of project. certified by the Irrigation Association as <br /> CLIA's; <br /> -Purchase supplies such as t-shirts for <br /> program advertising and auditor <br /> identification, cell phones for communicating <br /> with clients, fellow auditors, the program <br /> assistant and program manager. <br /> - W ebsite scheduling software is designed. <br /> This is a on-line scheduling tool that will be <br /> transferable to other entities wishing to set up $121,129 <br /> similar programs in their area. It will be funded <br /> included in the final product of this grant. by cities <br /> -Catch cups to measure water output in and <br /> system as well as other necessary auditing CRC <br /> supplies are purchased. <br /> <br />11 <br />
