The Company operates the Low line Ditch for delivery of irrigation
water within a 2,070-acre service area. The headgate for the ditch is located in Logan County, at
the Town of Sterling. The initial project included construction of 4 augmentation ponds and drilling
one augmentation well to generate augmentation credits to cover depletions for 13 irrigation wells
used by Company stockholders. Project funding needs to be increased by $65,250 to allow
rehabilitation of the Company's diversion structure on the South Platte River, so that water can be
efficiently diverted during the winter months. All work will be completed in winter-spring 2003.
Brent Nation, P.E., of Nation Engineering Services has completed the feasibility study. Proposed
funding for the project consists of a $159,750 Small Project Loan and a $1,500 Feasibility Study
Grant from the CWCS, and the remainder from the Company.
e
i!~RD___

.~
, .,
,
ill
0'

,

lIRO. ..'

.
