CO-MANAGEMENT OF THE WATER RlGHTS
.FOR THE MONUMENT AND ASPINALL UNIT

Priority would shift among the following:

. A y~ar round minimum flow (300 cfs),
. A spring season (May-June) peak flow (3,500 to 12,000+ cfs) with
appropriate ramping rates,
. Shoulder flows up to 800 cfs,
. Flood control,
. Compact deliveries,
. Yield from Aspinall (-240,000 AFY),
. Reservoir storage targets (e.g. to fill Blue Mesa Reservoir, minimize
. ice jam flooding above Blue Mesa Reservoir),
. Hydropower generation,
. Recreation in the Gunnison Gorge and at Curecanti NRA,
. Endangered species needs.

Priority would be determined based on the following
factors:

. Expected runoff volume.
. Pre-runoff season reservoir content.
. Season of the year.
. Capabilities of the physical structures,
