<br />e <br /> <br />presentation of duplicative infonnation, consolidation of concerns, etc. The <br />Parties may fonnulate stipulations respecting the issues to be raised, <br />witnesses and exhibits to be presented, and/or any other matters which may <br />be agreed to or admitted by the Parties. At the prehearing conference, the <br />Parties shall make known any obj ections to the procedures or evidence that <br />they may raise at the hearing unl~ss such objections could not have been <br />reasonably detennined at that time. <br /> <br />(5) August 15th is the last day for submission of written rebuttal statements, <br />including testimony, legal memoranda, and exhibits. Fifteen copies of such <br />materials must be provided to the Board. Except for such rebuttal, the Board <br />will not accept any statements orirelated documentation or exhibits submitted <br />by any Party after the prehearing conference, except for good cause shown or <br />as agreed upon by the Parties. The scope of rebuttal is limited to issues and <br />evidence presented in the prehearing statements, <br /> <br />(6) Any documentation to be submitted pursuant to subsection (5) of this Rule <br />shall be delivered to the Board and mailed to all Parties and Contested <br />Hearing Participants by August 15th unless the Parties agree otherwise, <br /> <br />o. Notice of Hearings on Contested Staff Recommendations. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />(1) Staff shall mail notice of any prehearing conference any hearing on a <br />contested StaffISF recommendation to all of the names on the Contested <br />Hearing Mailing List for the particular proposed appropriation. The notice <br />shall specify the time, place, nature of the prehearing conference hearing, and <br />any requirements with respect to ~pecial procedures that the Board deems <br />appropriate for that proceeding. j <br /> <br />(2) The Board may postpone a hearing to another date by issuing written notice of <br />the postponement no later than 7 ~ays prior to the original hearing date. <br /> <br />p. Conduct of Hearings. <br /> <br />(1) In conducting any hearing, the BOiU'd shall have authority to: administer oaths <br />and affinnations; regulate the couFse of the hearing; set the time and place for <br />continued hearing; limit the number of technical witnesses; issue appropriate <br />orders controlling the subsequent \:ourse of the proceedings; and take any <br />other action authorized by these Rules. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />12 <br />
