CWCB Flood Protection staff now request a one time non-
reimbursable investment from the Construction Fund to complete this very important manual (phase 2), This
document will help guide local floodplain administrators, government engineers, consulting engineers,
developers, and others with drainage and floodplain related projects, In addition, it will help provide some
consistency in methodological approaches to hydrology and other technical aspects of drainage and floodplain
studies and projects,

The impact area of the manual is within the entire state of Colorado. The Project objective is to develop a
comprehensive drainage and floodplain management tool that contains information to assist a variety of users. It
will provide approaches that: I) standardize studies and projects to meet local, state, and federal requirements,
2) unifY study efforts for more consistent results, 3) provide technical information for consultants, floodplain
managers, local officials, and other users, and 4) guide project development and implementation.

.Mo11lll

. .Larimer

S 9",::ck
-Logan
Phillips

.
