majority vote of both houses of the G~neral Assembly; and

WHEREAS, House Bill 98-1006, enacted at the Second Regular
Session of the Sixty-frrst General Assembly, appropriated $10 million to
be placed in the Species Conservation TrustFuna for expenditures related
to native species; and . .

WHEREAS, House Bill 00-1429, enacted at the Second Regular
Session of the Sixty-second General Assembly, appropriated $5 million
to be J'laced in the Species Conservation Trust FUnd for expenditures
relate to native specIes; and ,

WHEREAS, The General AS$embly deems the recommended
expenditures described in the Species Conservation Eligibility List to be
in the interest of the people offue sta~e; now, therefore,

Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Sixty-third
General Assembly of the State of Colorado, the Senate concurring
herein:

(1) That the Executive Director of the Department of Natural
Resources is authorized to obligate imd expend $2,016,000 from the
capital account of the Species.Conseniation Trust Fund for the following
activities, programs, and species: :
