Complete two-year research study on Whirling Disease impact on Greenback. <br />. Assess 15 populations for Whirling Disease status. <br />. Secure two additionaJ stable populations in the Arkansas River basin. <br />. Headwater drainages targeted as restoration sties for new populations <br />. Greenbacks managed as two geneticaJly distinct stocks within the South Platte and Arkansas river <br />basins. <br />. Separate captive brood stocks are managed within the DOW hatchery system, These brood stocks <br />are completely replaced every two years to prevent domestication and loss of genetic diversity. <br />. Costs for aJI tasks related to this project shall not exceed $160,000 from the Species Conservation <br />Trust Fund, <br /> <br />Costs for all tasks related to all projects shall not exceed $ 2,613,000 from the Species <br />Conservation Trust Fund. <br /> <br />. <br />
