<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />Alternative Agricultural Transfers TRT <br />(continued) <br /> <br />Developed outline for TRT White Paper for final project <br />- Discuss all alternatives to buy and dry. <br />The TRT has nat yet been able to address: <br />- Are there suitable lands? <br />- Water quality issues. <br />SWSI teams need to focus on the impacts of buy and dry <br />on the Front Range. <br />A review committee will be formed to finalize white <br />paper. <br /> <br />Prioritize Recreation and Environment <br />Needs TRT <br /> <br />Conducted additional meeting; group decided to use the <br />agencies involved in TRT to assist the SWSI team with <br />GIS coverages. <br /> <br />Used proposal led by Nature Conservancy to determine <br />attributes. <br /> <br />SWSI team win develop additional GIS coverages using <br />data from eWeB. DOW, EPA, and CDPHE. <br /> <br />SWSI team needs to develop White Paper outline. <br /> <br />TRT wilt also develop a process on decisionmaking. <br /> <br />A fourth meeting may be required. <br /> <br />Prioritize Recreation and Environment <br />Needs TRT (continued) <br /> <br />Determining attributes/resource management endpoints <br />are basin specific. <br />Specific environmental and recreational options have <br />been partially identified. <br />Additional work is needed for altematives development. <br />To address these issues, an ongoing iterative process is <br />needed working in support of 1177 Roundtables and <br />watershed groups. <br /> <br />3 <br />
