The strategic planning process included several workshops and interviews with <br />the Board, staff and the public. Through this process, several issues related to Instream <br />Flow Program policies and procedures were identified for further discussion. In March <br />2005, the Board created a separate ISF Subcommittee to specifically address those <br />issues. Subcommittee members include: <br /> <br />Tom Sharp, Yampa-White Director <br />Harold Miskel, Arkansas Director <br />John Redifer, Colorado Director <br />Keith Catlin, Gunnison Director <br />Barbara Biggs, Denver Director <br />Don Schwindt, San Juan, Dolores, San Miguel Director <br />Eric Wilkinson, South Platte Director <br />Rod Kuharich, CWCB Director <br /> <br />Staff has worked with these members to coordinate calendars and identity a mutually agreeable meeting . <br />date. The ftrst meeting of the Subcommittee is now scheduled for <br /> <br />Thursday, October 13, 2005 <br />10 a.m. -- 3 p,m, <br />Division of Wildlife <br />Hunter Education Building <br />6060 Broadway <br />Denver, CO <br /> <br />In addition to accommodating schedules, the fall date will allow the Subcommittee to beneftt from <br />information generated by the next round of SWSI technical roundtables, which are slated to begin in early <br />October, and will allow the Board to complete RICD hearings which have been scheduled in conjunction <br />with upcoming Board meetings. <br /> <br />Information regarding the ISF Subcommittee meeting will be posted on the CWCB web page at <br />www.cwcb.state.co.us <br /> <br />Stream and Lake Protection Section-Candidate Stream List: (2006ISFs) Staff is providing a copy <br />of the latest version of the Candidate Stream List for public review. The Candidate Stream List provides <br />the names of streams and lakes that the recommenders intend to collect fteld data for the current year. As <br />the fteld season progresses, it is expected that many of the streams on the Candidate Stream List will be <br />removed due to variable fteld conditions and other unforeseen circumstances. On a regular basis, Staff <br />will update this list to reflect any changes and to provide the best and most current information to the . <br />public. There might also be instances where streams or lakes are added to the Candidate Stream List. In <br /> <br />28 <br />
