That effort has resulted in the release of an Administrative Report entitled
"Assessment of Salinity and Selenium Loads from Irrigated Agriculture in the Whitewater and Kannali
Creeks, Rifle/Silt, and De Beque Study Areas, Western Colorado, 1987 - 2003." Reports have been
distributed to CRBSCF members. Contact Steve Miller of the CWCB if you are interested in viewing this
report.

Southern Nevada Water Authority: We have received a copy of South em Nevada Water Authority's
2004 Annual Report. The report highlights the success of the conservation efforts within the Authority's
service area and estimates that a conservation rate of 29.5 % was achieved. The Authority has set a goal
to reduce its dependence on Colorado River water from 90% to 60%. Part of the strategy to accomplish
this goal is to develop non-Colorado River groundwater in rural Clark, Lincoln and White Pine counties
as well as surface water rights to Virgin and Muddy River water. The Authority has revenues and other
funding sources of approximately $400 million annually to use for day-to-day operations and towards
accomplishment of these objectives.
