COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Mr. Stapleton, Vice-Chairman, called the meeting to
order at 10:00 A. M.

MR. STAPLETON:

"We'll call this meeting of the Colorado
Water Board to order. It was originally
scheduled, as you know, on November 6th and
postponed until today.

The first order of business is the approval
of the minutes of the September 12th meeting
which have heretofore been sent to you. Are
there any additions or corrections to the
minutes as submitted? If not, I'll entertain
a motion they be approved."

MR. GOODWIN:

"I'll make the necessary motion."

MR. BURR:

" I . 11 second the motion."

MR. STAPLETON:

"It has been regularly moved and seconded
that the minutes of the meeting of September
12, 1964, as submitted be approved. All those
in favor will signify by saying 'aye';
opposed - they are approved.

Since our meeting on September 12th the
Board has been saddened by two deaths and we
asked the Attorney for the Water Board, Mr.
Mose~ to prepare resolutions. I will ask him
to submit them at this time."

MR. HOSES:

"'Resolution - Leonard Russell Kuiper was
born at Lusk, wyoming, on AprilS, 1915, one
of eight children, and attended the University
of Wyoming, obtaining a degree in Chemical
Engineering and starring on the University's
basketball team. He served in the Army in
the European theatre during World War II, and
attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
