<br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES <br />Rm. 132, State Services Building <br />Denver, Colorado <br /> <br />December 9, 1964 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Stapleton, Vice-Chairman, called the meeting to <br />order at 10:00 A. M. <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"We'll call this meeting of the Colorado <br />Water Board to order. It was originally <br />scheduled, as you know, on November 6th and <br />postponed until today. <br /> <br />The first order of business is the approval <br />of the minutes of the September 12th meeting <br />which have heretofore been sent to you. Are <br />there any additions or corrections to the <br />minutes as submitted? If not, I'll entertain <br />a motion they be approved." <br /> <br />MR. GOODWIN: <br /> <br />"I'll make the necessary motion." <br /> <br />MR. BURR: <br /> <br />" I . 11 second the motion." <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"It has been regularly moved and seconded <br />that the minutes of the meeting of September <br />12, 1964, as submitted be approved. All those <br />in favor will signify by saying 'aye'; <br />opposed - they are approved. <br /> <br />Since our meeting on September 12th the <br />Board has been saddened by two deaths and we <br />asked the Attorney for the Water Board, Mr. <br />Mose~ to prepare resolutions. I will ask him <br />to submit them at this time." <br /> <br />MR. HOSES: <br /> <br />"'Resolution - Leonard Russell Kuiper was <br />born at Lusk, wyoming, on AprilS, 1915, one <br />of eight children, and attended the University <br />of Wyoming, obtaining a degree in Chemical <br />Engineering and starring on the University's <br />basketball team. He served in the Army in <br />the European theatre during World War II, and <br />attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. <br /> <br />I <br />
