A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at
the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino Del Rio, Durango, Colorado 81301.
The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24,1999, by
Chairperson Bill Brown. Nine voting members were present at the time of
call to order so there was a quorum (at least six required), Board members
present on this date were Bill Brown, David Smith, Ray Werner, Bob Burr,
Eric Kuhn, Lewis Entz, Donald Schwindt, Harold Miskel, Greg Walcher,
State Engineer Hal Simpson, Felicity Hannay (representing the Attorney
General), Don Ament (representing the Department of Agriculture), and
CWCB Director Peter Evans?

Note: While many agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience, these
minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference.

la. Review and Approval of Agenda
Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0010 - 0147
Action: There were two additions and two deletions to the agenda that were
noticed in the "Added/Deleted Agenda Item Notice" from May 18, 1999.
An additional agenda item deletion was Item 12. A motion was made by
Patricia Wells that the agenda be approved as modified. The motion was
seconded by Bob Burr and approved unanimously (9-0),
