The total project cost including <br /> <br />engineering, contingencies, etce, is currently estimated to be <br /> <br />$1,000,000 and the town board has stated that it could meet the <br /> <br />following financial arrangements: <br /> <br />Grant from Dept. of Local Affairs <br />Impact Funds <br /> <br />$450,000 <br /> <br />CWCB Construction Fund (to be repaid <br />by water use charges) <br /> <br />$450,000 <br /> <br />Other Funds (to be obtained by <br />town of Walden) <br /> <br />l~QQLQQQ_ <br />$1,000,000 <br /> <br />With the financing shown, water use charges in the amount of $22,734 <br /> <br />would be levied annually by the state for 40 years for a total <br /> <br />repayment of $909,360 and the monthly charges for each tap will <br /> <br />increase from the current $7.50 to approximately $15.00. <br /> <br />It is hereby recommended that funds in the amount of $450,000 <br /> <br />be authorized by this Board for the Walden project and that the project <br /> <br />be recommended and submitted to the Colorado General Assembly for <br /> <br />approval during the 1981 session. <br />
