<br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />823 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />December 2, 1980 <br /> <br />R ~ SOL Q ! ! 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ,Bear Creek Reservoir was authorized by the federal <br /> <br />Flood Control Act of 1968 and has been constructed for the benefit <br /> <br />of the citizens of the State of Colorado; and <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Colorado recognizes the recreational <br /> <br />values associated with the creation of a permanent pool in said <br /> <br />reservoir; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Colorado has agreed to provide the water <br /> <br />required for the initial filling and periodic replenishment of a <br /> <br />recreation pool in said reservoir; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wright-McLaughlin Engineers, Denver, Colorado, has <br /> <br />donated to the Colorado Water Conservation Board, for its use in <br /> <br />maintaining the aforementioned recreation pool, 1,900 acre-feet of <br /> <br />the 2,000 acre-foot Morrison Exchange Reservoir conditional storage <br /> <br />water right; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conserva- <br /> <br />tion Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado, on the <br /> <br />2nd day of December, 1980, that it does hereby express its apprecia- <br /> <br />tion to Wright-McLaughlin Engineers for its generosity in conveying <br /> <br />the Morrison Exchange Reservoir right to the State of Colorado; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby direct its <br /> <br />Secretary to cause a copy of this resolution to be forwarded to the <br />
