In order to accommodate speakers, <br />Item 17a would be heard at 9:30 am. on the 13th, and 26j and k would be <br />heard earlier in the afternoon than listed on the 14th. A motion was made by <br />Allen Davey that the agenda be approved with these changes. The motion <br />was seconded by Alan Hamel and approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />2. Review and Approval of May 1998 Minutes <br />Tape 1, Start/Stop: 0130 - 0140 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the minutes of the May 1998 <br />meeting be accepted as written. The motion was seconded by David Smith <br />and approved unanimously (9-0). <br /> <br />3. Directors' Reports - CWCR, DOW, SED, AG, EDO, <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 0149 - 2400 <br />Action: Status reports from EDO, CWCB, SEO, DOW, and AGO were heard. <br />Discussion on the status of the CWCB Director's position was held, and the <br />Board directed the DNR Acting Executive Director, Wade Buchanan, to <br />proceed with the selection process <br /> <br />4a. - Floodplain Management - Floodplain Designation and Approvals - FPR Nos. 98-466, <br />4b. and 98-467 <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop: 4227 - 4585 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board approve the Flood <br />Insurance Study for the Town of Holyoke and the Floodplain Information <br />Report for the Town of Lyons, including rescinding the earlier FPR 201. <br />The motion was seconded simultaneously by Alan Hamel and Ray Werner <br />and approved unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />4c. <br /> <br />Floodplain Management - South Platte River Channel Right-Of-Way Request - Air <br />Life Division of Health One <br />Tape 2, Start/Stop: 4585 - 4757 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to accept the staff recommendation to <br />approve this Right-of-Way request and to waive the fee structure in this <br />instance.
