Fund <br />Type of Grantee: State Government Median Household income: N/A <br />CWCB Non-Reimbursable Inv.: up to $150,000 Interest Rate: N/A Term: N/A <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />A $150,000 Flood Response Program was authorized in the 2001 Construction Fund Bill (SB 01-157) <br />and enacted by the Colorado General Assembly. This legislative action made funds available for the <br />Flood Response Program on July 1, 2001. The fund was created to give the Flood Protection Section <br />of the CWCB ability to quickly respond to flood related events and to have program funds in the areas <br />of: flood documentation, flood forecasting, post-flood evaluation of floodplain mapping, aerial <br />photography, and flood hazard mitigation. Staff has utilized these funds effectively since 2001 <br />primarily in most of the programmatic areas listed above. The CWCB staff anticipates utilizing <br />between $100,000 and $150,000 out of the Flood Response Fund and is requesting that up to-a <br />maximum of $150,000 be authorized to refresh the fund and bring it up to its original authorization of . <br />$150,000. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Project Impact Area <br />
