WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised
information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado
Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve
as floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood
(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater
surface elevations and profiles in said new report, and further
recommends that the floodplain designation for a portion of
Coal Creek commencing at the confluence of Boulder Creek,
running thence upstream to point 3700 feet upstream of Perry
Street as approved by the previous resolution adopted
January 19, 1977, be rescinded;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver,
Colorado, this 11th day of February, 1981, that it does hereby
designate and approve as floodplain areas those areas described
as being inundated by a 100-year flood as described by the
floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new report
for Coal Creek, and does hereby rescind said portion of the
resolution adopted November 11, 1977; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the
Town of Erie; the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County;
the Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County; the U.S.
Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service; the
Federal Insurance Administration; and the Urban Drainage and
Flood Control District.

Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled
at Denver, Colorado, on the 11th day of February, 1981, at
