AI. <br />Dille from Northern Colorado be appointed as a oommittee to draft <br />,an lUJlendment covering the question of the limitations upon the <br />organization of conservancy districts respecting the amount of <br />water which can be diverted frCIII Western Colorado, and Bubmi t a <br />reoommendation at the next meeting of the Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board. <br /> <br />,j, <br />'I' <br />1 <br />'. <br />i: <br />i; <br /> <br />i, <br />H <br />" <br />Ii <br />\: <br />II <br />I <br />j <br /> <br />After further discussion the motion was unanimously passed. <br /> <br />Direotor Stone announoed that he would attempt to arrange a meeting <br />with Commissioner Page and Chief Engineer III1rper at the time Mr. Page is here <br />for the meeting of the National Reclamation Association. <br /> <br />The Director was requested to send out a oopy of the amendment pro- <br />posed at the last session of the legislature, to each member of the speoial <br />oommi ttee appointed by the O'Rourke motion. <br /> <br />Frank C. Merrie!l, Engineer-Seoretary of the Colorado River W&teT <br />Conservation Distriot, called to the attention of the members of the Board <br />oertain proposed modifioations of the Colorado Irrigation Code, whioh were <br />being oonsidered by a committee of ~he ColoradO Bar Association; Consider- <br />able disoussion took place with respect to proposed modifioations of the Ir- <br />rigation Code but no action _s taken by the Board. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 5135 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 1942. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />irman -_' <br /> <br />ATTEST I <br /> <br /> <br /># . <br />
