Dawn has with extensive technical experience in the private sector <br />related to hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain mapping, planning & design of flood control projects, and <br />FEMA map changes. She will now take over as the program manager for the on-going Floodplain Map <br />Modernization effort that is currently being handled by our contract employee, Karen Price. Dawn will <br />work closely with Karen and FEMA staff to assume the roles and responsibilities of the mapping <br />coordinator and to receive training and materials pertinent to the program. <br /> <br />The Physical Science Research Scientist II position for the vacant FEMA Coordinator has been <br />announced as an open competitive position.
